1. Acceptance

By using earth.tattoo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to register.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free tile claims is prohibited.
• Your display name may contain English letters, digits, and underscores only (max 30 characters). Display names may not impersonate other users or public figures.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Tile ownership

• Each account receives one free tile every 1 hour. We may change this interval at any time, without any notice. Free claims must be secured (≥10 painted pixels) within 1 hour or the claim is forfeited and restored.
• Additional tiles may be purchased or acquired by outbidding existing owners at the current bid price.
• Ownership is transferred immediately upon confirmed payment. There is no grace period or right of first refusal for existing owners.
• Tile ownership does not confer any rights over the underlying geographic land or real-world location it represents.

4. Payments

• All payments are made in cryptocurrency via NowPayments. By initiating a payment you agree to NowPayments' terms of service.
• All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on tile purchases under any circumstances, including if the tile is subsequently outbid.
• The platform retains 100% of all tile purchase fees.
• Prices are displayed in USD equivalent. Actual cryptocurrency amounts may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations at time of payment.

5. Content policy

You may not paint or display:

• Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
• Content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, or not safe for work (NSFW).
• Hate speech, symbols of hate movements, or content targeting individuals.
• Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Violations may result in tile reset, account suspension, or permanent ban without refund.

6. Moderation

We reserve the right to reset, transfer, or remove any tile's content at our discretion. Admins may ban accounts that violate these Terms. Moderation decisions are final.

7. Public content

By painting a tile you grant earth.tattoo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your pixel art as part of the platform (including the globe view, screenshots, and promotional materials). Tile history is permanent and publicly accessible even after your ownership ends.

8. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or continuity of service. Tile ownership records are maintained on a best-effort basis.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, earth.tattoo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including loss of tile ownership or artwork.
